Tangerine dress

Finally another outfit post on the blog! Last few weeks have been kind of hectic, adapting to the new job and being on and off sick. I wasn't feeling very much like taking outfit pictures or didn't have the opportunity to.
The weather has also been kind of crappy most of the time, but I managed to finally wear my tangerine dress from Zara. I really love the colour, but the fit could've been better. The dress was just made in one size, so it's pretty short, not that short hems scare me, but it just not that it's work appropriate. So it kind of gets
eliminated from the day to day outfit options.
I also swayed and bought a pair of slip-on sneakers, plimsolls or whatever you like to call them. These I can wear to work, yes, my wardrobe at the moment is very work centered. I'm in the process of breaking them in, but they start to set and get comfortable. I also got my eye on a pair of Birckenstock slip-ons and bought a pair of boots. One can never have too many shoes, AMEN!

Wearing: Zara dress & sunnies, Tango slip on sneakers, Michael Kors watch.

I need to stop touching my hair in the pictures! Also, still looking very Winter pale.

& Other Stories - Antwerp opening

So as you might have heard, last week the very first Belgian & Other Stories store opened it's doors. I was very excited to see what the store was all about in real life and let me tell you, I wasn't left disappointed. It was even hard to concentrate among the very broad range of clothes, shoes, accessories and beauty products. My eyes were flying in every possible direction, but I got what I came for, the shirt dress from the collection of Vika Gazinskaya. I'll definitely be back to explore in all peace and quite.
I was also quite impressed with in store presentation and such a big accessories collection (weak spot).

Make sure to visit the store if you're in the neighborhood, but beware for your bank account!

The Antwerp store is located on Korte Gasthuisstraat 17
The store in Brussels store will open it's doors on June 7 at Gulden-Vlieslaan 15

Specially for the Antwerp opening the famous Belgian florist, Mark Colle, adorned the windows with a beautiful selection of flowers.

Neoprene skirt, pink sweater and Eurovision impression

Time has been flying, I already have the first week on my new job behind me. It's all still very new and exciting and still have a lot to learn. I've also managed to navigate around Brussels (where I work now) without getting lost. Luckily it's the most fancy neighborhood, so I've got quite a view every day.
I'm going to wait a bit with revealing where exactly I work, until I fall into a comfortable routine and find my place within the company. I must say that I'm very happy and exciting for the future!
Off course it wouldn't be me if I didn't have some struggles in the meanwhile too. I have still been semi-sick the whole week and also infected my bf, mom and some colleagues from the previous job. I guess it must have been pretty serious virus I caught. Hope I will lose all symptoms next week and that the weather will turn around as well.

I finally had two days off, a real weekend. I spent some quality time with the bf and we had a great laugh watching Eurovision last night. Truly happy that Conchita won! What a wonderful song and performance! The song could even be a Bond theme song, don't you think?
I wish the Russian contestants weren't booed so much, it's not like it was Putin performing. Even so, I don't see Obama or any other president, how unpopular, being booed out, no? People should start to grow a brain and not get into these political games as much. You're not hating on one single person, but on millions of people of one race or background. Try to remember this the next time you speak out in public...
The double standards haven't left the world, same people can be so tolerant (cheering Conchita on) or booing two girls just seconds later. Still work to be done...

My last set of nails grew into claws, I'm back to shorter ones now, for practical reasons.

Fringed boots, lace top and fresh ombre

This week has been full of up's and downs. I've managed to get sick once again and have been feeling like crap, to say the least, the whole week. While being sick I still managed to work long days, get my hair done and go to Justin Timberlake's gig (which was absolutely mind blowing btw).
I hope that I will feel better next week, because (insert drumroll) I'll be starting at my new job on Monday. I'm both extremely excited and nervous for my first days and weeks. I promise to tell you more about it when the time is right, but I'll say that I'll be working for one of worlds leading fashion brands.
Tomorrow will be my last day at my current job, yes working in retail also means occasionally working on Sunday. I'll miss my colleagues, but I'm happy to move on to something better.

Two highlights of the week were getting my ombre freshen up and seeing Justin Timberlake last night. The concert was soo great, I can't get over it! Though I felt horrible prior to it, Justin managed to make me feel better and I danced my ass off and screamed like a teenage girl. We were standing pretty close to him, so it was even more special. Seriously didn't think he would have such an effect on me. Definitely going back to see him with his next show!

This post is getting kinda long, but bear with me, outfit pictures are coming. I finally managed to snap my new favorite Ash fringed booties I recently got from Cloggs.co.uk. I didn't own any Ash shoes yet, but the boots are so comfortable that I'll be looking out for more shoes from the brand. Sometimes price just makes all the difference, my feet usually can't handle cheap shoes.

I'm loving the overall look of the outfit. It's perfect for laid back Summer nights and my hair looks nice, straight after the hairdresser's.

Wearing: c/o River Island cardigan, Oasap top, Agent Provocateur bra, H&M jeans and serpent ring, c/o Ash boots via Cloggs.

The heel hight of the boots is perfect for everyday use and I love how they already look a bit worn.
