The Witching Hour

The weather is as unpredictable as life itself. The day this pictures were taken, last Friday, it was nowhere near summer. Now we're experiencing a heat wave, which we'll be over pretty quick too.
I've been busy with summer things as going out, seeing friends and enjoying myself. Which I plan to do even more the coming month. Tomorrow I'll be lying at the beach with my bestie and finally swim!
I'm also going on two holidays the next month. This came unexpected and I love it! Life is good!

I have to get my toe nails done so I leave you with these black moody pictures.

Wearing: Lipsy jacket, Asos dress, Sacha shoes, Zara bag, Essentiel tail, Butler & Wilson skull bracelet, Swarovski wrap bracelet, All Saints moon stone ring, Primark cross necklace, Rosary necklace & saints bracelet gifted, Michael Kors watch.

Summertime Sadness

What do you do when you're bored? I usually read, draw or DIY stuff.
Today I finally got around to make a flower crown. Because, obviously, every girl deserves a crown.
After I was done I felt inspired or just still was bored and decided to take pictures with it. I used Lana Del Rey as inspiration. I don't think we've got the same look or vibe, but a little tribute wouldn't hurt anyone. I really admire her style and looks. Even though, not natural, she looks beautiful. I'm not an anti-surgery freak, so whatever floats her gorgeous boat. A real fan of her music too, probably listened to her record for 100 times already. Need to get my hands on that vinyl! Hope to get to see her live soon!

Here we go!

I'm content with how the pictures and my crown turned out. Need to get more flowers soon!

Sunday ease

Not much to tell here, except the weather is crap and doens't even remotely resemble summer.
Me and my boyfriend have been working in our house and it's nice to see some progress. We also started watching the old Bond movies. The plan is to work through all of them.
Oh, and today I also made a solitary bike ride without getting killed. Must be proud of myself :p
Going to snuggle in bed now and watch the second Bond film, 'From Russia With Love'. Love seeing Sean Connery play Bond!

So just a quick outfit post, this is what I wore today. Both the shirt and the skirt are thrifted. I love the mint color of the shirt. It's a men's Versace shirt btw. Staying on trend with a twist.

Wearing: Thrifted Versace shirt, thrifted skirt and belt, Hs&M shoes, H&M trend earrings, Ray-Ban Laramie sunglasses, shamballa bracelets from ebay.

Minimal green

Those who has been following my blog regularly, probably have noticed my eclectic style. Frankly, I don't know what to call it myself. If a few years ago a I had a distinctive love for black, now is my style more versatile. Not that I don't love black anymore, far from it. Those should also know that I have plenty of accessories, not even half of them have been on the blog. I really have them stashed in boxes...
But just sometimes, I grow tired of it all (just for a day or so) and try to go minimal. My minimal is mostly not so minimal for other people, but still.
I really like how this outfit turned out, black with a hint of color. Was also forced to take pictures inside, due to constant rain here. Really, this weather has been driving me mad. I'm afraid summer is gone forever!
This pictures were taken in the hall of MOMU, fashion museum of Antwerp. Me and my friend visited the exhibition of historical fashion.

Wearing: Manigance jacket, Zara top and bag, H&M shorts, Eram shoes, Michael Kors watch.

Ow, how I love this biker jacket. I have it for probably five years now, but still it looks splendide. I bought it at some outlet store for a ridiculous price. The quality is so great, it still looks new!

The shorts and the bag are two of my sale purchases. Shorts were just 5 euro at H&M and the bag 20 euro at Zara. The bag is big enough to hold my camera, major +++++ Btw, the matching nail color was accidental!

Also bought these loafers at the sales. They were also pretty cheap, 35 euro for leather shoes. I really needed a replacement for my other pair of black flats.

On the other side

(source: Tumblr)

Lately I've been feeling that urge to get away, just pack bags and leave. Sure, I have my reasons, problems and responsibilities to run from. The surroundings and reality has been pushing on me and stressing me out for too long. I just need a quite vacation. Me and my love on the road, somewhere near an ocean and wild nature would be the ideal change of scenery. To go and finally find that sun, wherever it might be. The farther the better. Unfortunately it isn't written in the stars for this year. Hope next year will bring that needed change and some financial possibilities as well!
Not all is bad though, I still look forward to shape our future home. I'm so full of ideas, sometimes I'm scared I even want too much. I usually do...

Neon fields

What do you wear during the hottest day of the year? Nothing would still be too much. Though not to overwhelm the crowd with my naked curves, I still decided to pull something on.
At first I opted for a head to toe black outfit, but luckily my rational part saved me in time.
I ended up in this floral dress, which always gets me a lot of compliments. This is a style loved by the general public, that's why. I adore it too and it matches my new shoes perfectly! The shoes, a pair I'm in love with. After dreaming of neon shoes, I finally found the perfect pair, at Zara. Zara saves!
I wore this outfit at the Big U event in the previous post. It still was too hot for the dress as it's quite thick, but the flowers and neon just gave it that perfect summer feel!

Wearing: Zara dress and shoes, Michael Kors watch, H&M necklace.

Heard Johnny Depp was available again, so I had to make a move!

Unfortunately or luckily, the only picture showing my loose braid was the one where I was doing the nasty with a pirate. Yes, that's what it was!
