Antwerp Royal Academy Show 2010

So, here're finally some pictures of the show in Antwerp.
Chose just some to have an overall impression.
I took about 650 pictures that evening, but because the light wasn't so good from where I was sitting, most of them were no good.
I'm always so inspired when I see the students collections. Kind of makes me believe that dreams do come true. And it's always nice to see young talent.

Enjoy!

This leopard ensemble was my favorite of the whole show. I wonder where I could buy this kind of beautiful fabric. Nice leopard print is so hard to find.

I'm leaving for a metal/rock festival tomorrow, they're promising hot weather. Hopefully I won't get a sunburn.

Coming up next: pictures from the Academy of Ghent.

My exams are finally over, but I'm still a busy bee here.
Last saturday I went to the fashion show of the Royal Antwerp Academy.
I wore my Margiela dress as a tribute to his time of study there.
The pictures of the show will be up on sunday, still have to choose and to edit them.
Here is my outfit of that day.

Wearing: Martin Margiela dress, Asos necklace

Nothing much to tell, just busy with my exams.
This saturday I'll be going to the the fashion show of the Royal Fashion Academy of Antwerp.
Very excited and looking forward to it, must I say.
Here's just an outfit that I wore to my last exam. I wear black most of the time, so finals are no exception.
Actually, this dress is where it all started with. It was the first one I wore on the blog :)
It's nice to see the progress. Thank you, guys, for supporting me!

The weather has been so great the past few days, I took a few breakes to enjoy the sun in the company of my bf or the girls. Unfortunately I'm now stuck inside until tuesday.
But they've been promising bad weather, so I'm not going to be tempted or distracted :)
Well, at least not by the sun!

I just worn this dress from the H&M Garden collection for the first time and I must tell you I'm absolutely in love with the popping colors. Despite quiet a volume the dress is very light, it's also short. So perfect for a hot day.
I went a bit color crazy by adding a neon belt & flats. I must confess that I've really have been bitten by the neon bug ^^
And yes, I'm the one who stays pretty pale the whole year.

Tim Walker + Cecil Beaton

Here're the promised pictures of the Walker and Beaton exhibition.
I'm sorry for the large amount of photos, but I just wanted to show as much as possible.
If this exhibition will be anywhere near you in the future, don't miss it!

The master himself, Tim Walker!

Seeing the pictures of Lily Cole and Karen Elson really made my day even better, as they're one of my favorite models of all time.

This picture was Dali inspired. Must have been a lot of work cleaning the mess after each shot!

A nice detail were the oversized props he often uses in his shoots. You can really get an image of how huge they are! It was nice to see in large skeleton from the Harper's Bazaar shoot.
